memy second trip. 3 worthy days. i took the 11.03am train from birmingham. i was glad i made it in time without any rush because i was worried if i cant wake up early as i slept very late the night before. the journey was so peaceful. the sun showed itself the whole day and the day was so bright. i brought my laptop along and plus i had reserved a seat near the window with a plug. watched 2 movies before arriving in edinburgh. eddy, a medic student waited for me at the station and we took a bus to his uni, St. Andrews university and it was quite far, about 1 hour 30 mins. that night we didnt do anything, just cooked for dinner and rest.
the second day was sunny and we had planned to spend all day on the beach. it was so beautiful and relaxing. because it was weekend, so there was quite a number of locals and other tourist walking on the beach. it didnt bother me at all as it had been a long time i havent seen the sea. i ran along the beach and jumped around. i didnt care the others looked at me as after that, they did what i did. lol xp. i realised that the two trips of mine for this holiday were good choices and i was satisfied. although it was my second time i went to scotland, the nature gave me no regrets of what i've decided. yeah, the plan to spend all day on the beach didnt go well as i had something else. the ball! nadia, eddy's friend managed to get us some extra tickets to their hall's ball and it was my very first time to attend a ball. it is not fun if you dont have any partner during ball. but, i was satisfied. attending a local ball is not a typical event for me. yeah, i can see a guy got drunk just after half hour we arrived at the location. it was funny because i thought he slipped because of the ice-cream on the floor, but he was actually drunk. and yeah, i got to see the scottish traditional dance, ceilidh dance. it looked so much fun, like what i had watched in a movie, cant remember the title. the securities were so strict, they didnt even allow students to go far from the entrance door as the building where the ball was held was totally isolated. i didnt know how they could find such a place. we went back to uni at 30mins pass 12. i was so darn tired and crushed on the bed right after i changed my clothes.
my return trip went not really well and i didnt want to write about it. what can i mention are; st*pid train, st*pid current account, st*pid handset battery. it was a very tough home journey for me and my mood was totally disrupted. but, what the heck, my travel plans went so well, i had so much fun, meet new friends, new experiences, able to relax and release my tension and much more from this one week away from warwick. no regrets.
